Lovers embrace that which is between them rather than each other.
ప్రేమికులు తమ మధ్యన ఉన్న మరి దేన్నో కౌగిలించుకుంటారు తప్ప ఒకరినొకరు కాదు.

Love and doubt have never been on speaking terms.
ప్రేమకూ అనుమానానికీ మధ్య ఏనాడూ మాటలు లేవు.

Love is a word of light, written by a hand of light, upon a page of light.
ప్రేమ అన్నది కాంతి శబ్దం. అది కాంతి అనే పుట మీద కాంతి అనే చేతితో వ్రాయబడుతుంది.

Friendship is always a sweet responsibility, never an opportunity.
స్నేహం సదా ఒక తీయని బాధ్యత, అది అవకాశం కానేకాదు.

If you do not understand your friend under all conditions you will never understand him.
నీవు నీ స్నేహితుడిని అన్ని పరిస్థితులలోనూ అర్థం చేసుకోగలగాలి, లేకుంటే ఎప్పడూఅర్థం చేసుకోలేవు.

Your most radiant garment is of the other person's weaving;
Your most savory meal is that which you eat at the other person's table;
Your most comfortable bed is in the other person's house.
Now tell me, how can you separate yourself from the other person?
నీ దుస్తుల్లో అన్నిటికన్నా వెలుగుతుండేది మరొక మనిషి నేసినది.

నీ అన్నిటికన్నా రుచిగల భోజనం మరొకరి బల్ల మీద తిన్నదే.

నీవు అన్నిటికన్నా సుఖంగా పడుకున్న పడక మరొకరి ఇంటిలోనిది.

ఇప్పుడు చెప్పు, మరి నిన్ను నీవు ఆ మరొక మనిషి నుంచి ఎలా వేరు చేసుకుంటావు?

Your mind and my heart will never agree until your mind ceases to live in numbers and my heart in the mist.
నీ మెదడూ, నా మనసూ ఎప్పుడూ ఏకాభిప్రాయానికి రావు, నీ మెదడు అంకెల్లో, నా మనసు మంచులో బతకడం మానితే తప్ప.

We shall never understand one another until we reduce the language to seven words.

భాషను మనం ఏడు మాటలకు కుదించితే తప్ప మనం ఒకరినొకరు అర్థం చేసుకోలేము.

HOW SHALL MY heart be unsealed unless it be broken?
నా హృదయాన్ని పగలగొట్టకుండానే దాని సీలు విప్పడమెట్లా?

Only great sorrow or great joy can reveal your truth.
If you would be revealed you must either dance naked in the sun, or carry your cross.
కేవలం గొప్ప దుఃఖం, గొప్ప సంతోషం మాత్రమే నీలోని సత్యాన్ని బయటపెట్టగలవు.

నీవు బయట పడాలంటే, నీవు ఎండలో దిసమొలతో చిందులేయాలి. లేదా క్రాసును మోయాలి.

Should nature heed what we say of contentment, no river would seek the sea, and no winter would turn to Spring. Should she heed all we say of thrift, how many of us would be breathing this air?
సంతృప్తి గురించి మనమంటుండే మాటలను ప్రకృతి పట్టించుకుని ఉంటే, నదులేవీ సముద్రాన్ని ఆశించేవికావు, చలికాలం వసంతమయేదికాదు. మనం పొదుపు గురించి అనే మాటలను అది పట్టించుకుని ఉంటే, ఈ గాలిని మనలో ఎందరు పీల్చగలిగేవారు?

You see but your shadow when you turn your back to the sun.
నీవు సూర్యునికి వెన్ను చూపితే, చూడగలిగేది నీ నీడను మాత్రమే!

You are free before the sun of the day, and free before the stars of the night;
And you are free when there is no sun and no moon and no star.
You are even free when you close your eyes upon all there is.
But you are a slave to him whom you love because you love him,
And a slave to him who loves you because he loves you.
నీవు ఆనాటి సూర్యుడు రాకముందు స్వతంతత్రుడవు, ఆ రాత్రి నక్షత్రాలు రాకముందు స్వతంత్రుడవు.

ఇక సూర్యుడూ, చంద్రుడూ, నక్షత్రాలు లేనప్పుడూ నీవు స్వతంత్రుడవు.

ఉన్నదంతా పట్టించుకోక కళ్లు మూసుకున్నా నీవు స్వతంత్రుడవు.

అయితే, నీవు ఎవరినయితే ప్రేమిస్తావో అతనికి మాత్రం బానిసవు, ఎందుకంటే నీవు అతనిని ప్రేమిస్తావు గనుక!

ఇక నిన్ను ప్రేమించేవానికి నీవు బానిసవే, ఎందుకంటే అతను నిన్ను ప్రేమిస్తాడు గనుక!

We are all beggars at the gate of the temple, and each one of us receives his share of the bounty of the King when he enters the temple, and when he goes out.
But we are all jealous of one another, which is another way of belittling the King.
మనమంతా గుడి ముందు బిచ్చగాళ్లం, రాజుగారు గుడికి వచ్చినప్పుడు అతని సంపదలో మనమన వంతు మనకు అందుతుంది. అతను బయటికి వెళ్లినప్పుడూనూ.

అయితే మనకంతా ఒకరి మీద మరొకరికి అసూయ. అది రాజును చిన్నబుచ్చడానికి మరో మార్గం.

You cannot consume beyond your appetite. The other half of the loaf belongs to the other person, and there should remain a little bread for the chance guest.

నీ ఆకలికి మించి నీవు తినలేవు. రొట్టెలే మరో సగం, మరో మనిషికి చెందుతుంది. అనుకోకుండా వచ్చే అతిథికీ కొంత ఉండాలి మరి.

If it were not for your guests all houses would be graves.

అతిథులొస్తున్నారు గనుక సరిపోయింది, లేకుంటే ఇళ్లన్నీ స్మశానాలయ్యేవి.

Said a gracious wolf to a simple sheep, "Will you not honor our house with a visit?"
And the sheep answered, "We would have been honored to visit your house if it were not in your stomach."

దయగల తోడేలు గొఱ్ఱెతో అన్నది గదా, “మా ఇంటిని పావనం చెయ్యరాదా?” అని,

గొఱ్ఱె జవాబిచ్చింది గదా, “నీ ఇల్లు నీ కడుపులో గాక మరో చోట ఉండి ఉంటే తప్పక వచ్చే పనే!” అని

I stopped my guest on the threshold and said, "Nay, wipe not your feet as you enter, but as you go out."

అతిథిని కడప వద్దే ఆపి అన్నాను గదా, “అయ్యా! మీరు లోనికి వచ్చేటప్పుడు కాదు, బయటికి వెళ్లేప్పుడు కాళ్లు తుడుచుకోండి!” అని
