and many more things. There are also translations from Telugu. It is all my curiosity to experiment with things!
I have tried to bring the beauty of the language to you, through translation of interesting
works.
For a long time, if you search on google, with words "Telugu, Article" my page was
appearing in number 1 position ahead of Wikipedia. This surprised me so much!
Why not there more telugu on the Internet?, I ask myself.
I thank all the friends who visit my pages!
may I say that the number of pages in the site is more than 100 now? Thanks
a lot for the support!

మొత్తానికి మెదడు
స్థాయిలో ఆడా మగా మధ్య
తేడా ఉందని తేలిపోయింది.
వాడెప్పుడూ
ఇలాగే చేస్తుంటాడు. ఉన్నట్టుండి
మాయమయిపోతాడు. ఏమిటీ
చెప్పడు. అడిగితే నవ్వుతాడు.
పల్లెల్లో ఏదో పని ఉందంటాడు.
We shall never understand one another until we reduce the
language to seven words.
భాషను
ఏడు మాటలకు కుదించితే
తప్ప మనం ఒకరినొకరు అర్థం
చేసుకోలేము.
అయినా అతనలా
పోతాడని ఎవరనుకున్నారు? రాయికన్నా
గట్టిగా కనిపించేవాడు.
గట్టివాళ్లు కూడా అలా
హఠాత్తుగా చచ్చిపోతారు
గావును!
ఈ
భూమి మీద నూకలు చెల్లితే
అంతా సుఖమే సుఖం! అని మనవాళ్లు
అనాదిగా నమ్ముతున్నదే.
అలా నమ్మిన ఒక కుర్రవాడి
పాత్ర చుట్టూ అల్లిన
కథ 'పిచ్చివాళ్ల స్వర్గం.'అయిజాక్
బషేవిస్ సింగర్ అనే పోలాండ్
రచయిత రాసిన ఇద్దిష్
కథ ఇది.
మనిషి,
బతుకు తాకిడికి ఉక్కిరి
బిక్కిరి అవుతుంటాడు.
అందుకే కల్పన సంగతికి
వచ్చేసరికి, ఎలా ఉంటే
తనకు బాగుంటుందో అలాంటి
బొమ్మను గీసుకుంటాడు.
కల్పనలో కూడా మళ్లీ నిజమే
ఎదురయితే, ఎవరికీ నచ్చదని
ఏనాడో తేలిపోయింది!
ఇంతకూ
‘సత్యమునే
పలకవలెను’ అనేది గాంధీగారు
మొదటిసారిగా చెప్పారా?
(ఇది ఎవరో
రాసిన వ్యాసం కాదు. అచ్చంగా
విజయగోపాల్ రాసినదే!!)

from Telugu to English. This was an effort not because I am a very good translator, but, the urge to do something

ఏడుపెందుకు?
for the wingless spirit bird?
ఆ రెక్కలులేని
పక్షి కోసం
Why cry
ఏడుపెందుకు?
for the honeybird?
ఆ తేనెపిట్ట
కోసం
The king attends a funeral
రాజు అంతిమయాత్రకు
వస్తాడు
and dances with his eyebrows,
కనుబొమ్మలతోనే
కలయాడతాడు
his naked words smelling of sand
అతని ఉత్తుత్తిమాటలు
ఇసుక వాసన వేస్తాయి
and gunpowder.
తుపాకీ
మందు వాసన కూడా
The polluted wind
కంపు గాలిలో
only smells of lost dreams,
కరిగిన కలల
వాసన
some
kinds of amorphous declarations
ఓ రకమైన పొడిపొడి
నిర్ణయాలు
about blood mixed with dance songs.
ఆటపాటల్తో
కలిసిన రక్తం గురించి
Our royal king
మన మంచి రాజు
smokes a tired cigarette
అలసిన ఓ చుట్టకాలుస్తాడు
and eats biscuits with a fork.
బిస్కట్లను
ముళ్లచెంచాతో తింటాడు
He lives in volcanic tempers,
అతను అగ్నిపర్వతం
ఆవేశంలో ఉంటాడు
sniffing the wind for armed insurgency
గాలిలో సాయుధపోరాటం
వాసనలను వెదుకుతాడు
in all locked places.
అదీ, అన్నీ
తాళం వేసిన జాగాల్లో
The king,
రాజు గారు
he wears necklaces of bullets
తూటాలను దండగా
తాలుస్తాడు
his lips stiff with pronouncements.
మాటమాత్రం
పట్టినట్టుంటుంది
Tomorrow's funeral
రేపటి అంతిమయాత్రకు
is banned,
అనుమతి లేదు
the corpse
శవాన్ని
detained
పట్టి ఉంచి
for further
ఇంకా
questioning.
ప్రశ్నించాల్సి
ఉంది.
